Okikiola Habeeb, better known by his stage name Portable, was just disqualified from the 2022 Headies.
The organizers of the Headies Awards announced Portable’s (Zazu) exclusion and the reasoning behind it on the official Hiptv social media channels late on Tuesday, July 26, 2022.
He was disqualified because of his purported membership in the violent gang known as “1 million boys.”
The Headies Academy also called attention to a video in which the artist allegedly threatened them, saying that he would harm the other contenders in the same categories if he did not win.

Both the “Best Street Artist” and “Rookie of the Year” awards had him in the running.
The organizers said they disqualified him to send a message that they do not tolerate rude and offensive comments.
“I am a child of light. I have fame, I have money, I have cars, I have wives, I have children. I am rich. People know me everywhere. I don’t regret my actions”, He said
