Although it’s been over two years since “Free Mind” was released, Tems’ music continues to occupy listeners’ minds without paying rent.
A video of a college band from the United States performing the masterpiece flawlessly has gone popular on social media, providing convincing evidence. U.S. radio stations have been playing “Free Mind” regularly since its release.
Students at Praire View A&M University (PVAMU) in Texas submitted a video of themselves performing a song they had written and recorded for this year’s Battle of the Bands competition.

When Tems who stumbled into the video asked her about it, she said that she had no idea that she was writing history with the song. She thanked God for her success.
