JAMB 2025 UTME Centre Accreditation: Key Guidelines For New & Existing CBT Centres
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially commenced the accreditation process for centres participating in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). This step is vital for the smooth administration of the annual examination.
New Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres intending to participate must first review the JAMB CBT Centre Requirements, which outline the guidelines for establishing a JAMB-approved centre. After familiarizing themselves with these requirements, centres should notify JAMB of their intent by submitting a written notice to the Registrar through their Zonal Director or State Coordinator.
Centres accredited and satisfactorily involved in the 2024 UTME can now indicate their interest for the 2025 UTME via the Centre Management System (CMS) Portal.
Zonal and State Offices will assist new centres by creating accounts for them on the CMS Portal, facilitating the registration process.
All participating centres—new and existing—must undergo a mandatory Autobot/Autotest. The results of this test are critical, as only centres that pass will qualify for the next stage: a physical accreditation visit by JAMB’s team.
Centres that successfully meet all accreditation requirements will be officially approved and included in the 2025 UTME registration and examination process.
